The first step of the interior design process is to meet and understand my client’s needs for the space and the requirements of each room with regard to lifestyle, color preferences, family habits, etc. Getting to know you is the most important and essential aspect of getting it right. Once you submit an inquiry, Constance will chat with you and then send you a Lifestyle questionnaire to flesh out all of the essential components.
The next step is meet you at my studio, and go over what I envision for your space(s) from your questionnaire. Kremer & Daughters will propose some ideas and if we feel there is good collaboration, we can proceed with a contract to define the work to be completed. Don’t worry, you will have time to review this at your leisure. Our client schedule works on an ongoing basis, but Kremer & Daughters never takes on more than two large jobs at the same time.
The third step is to meet you at your home and take measurements and photos of everything we plan to do. If this is a new build or a major renovation, we ask to meet the contractor, so that we can work on the finishing details in tandem.
The fourth step is to present you with a project file of all of the design selections and invite you to come in again to see and feel the samples. If you are based off Cape, we will put together a selection file and box to be delivered to you, and we arrange a Zoom call to review together.
Kremer & Daughters works with a cloud-based project software, that gives you a personal portal link where you can view all of the chosen items, priced and with measurements. You are able to approve or reject each item. Kremer & Daughters will provide up to three variations total for each item in this process.
The fifth step is the procurement of the selections, the tracking, the receiving and the very best part of the process; the delivery to and installation of all of the pieces in your home.
